Tone Presets

Tone presets control the personality of AI-generated text. Pass a tone ID via the tone parameter.

Tone requires an API key — it triggers AI generation.

Available Tones

All 13 tone presets are available on every tier, including the free Hobby API tier.

The insanity parameter (1–5) controls how far the tone leans into its personality:

Level	Behavior
1	Dry, straight-faced — subtle hints of the tone
2	Noticeable personality, still grounded
3	Default — clear tone identity, good balance
4	Strong lean into the character, less restraint
5	Fully unhinged — maximum absurdity
